Jordan’s Ambassador to Algeria Mohammad Nuymat discussed on Thursday with the Algerian Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Mohammad Amin Haj, bilateral relations and means to strengthen these further in the economic and tourism areas.
During the meeting, the two officials stressed the importance of strengthening religious and medical tourism in the Kingdom, and underscored the advanced stage of progress the Kingdom has reached which attracts Arab and foreign tourists in large numbers.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of cooperation and coordination in the field of hotel training whereby Algeria can benefit from the Jordanian expertise in this area. They also addressed the issue of preparing the memorandum of understanding in the field of tourism for signing during the future meetings of the Jordanian Algerian joint committees.
The Algerian minister expressed his country’s interest in boosting cooperation with Jordan in all fields, mainly in education and training.
